Always start with the problem:

The "Fragmentation Tax"

Despite the community-centric nature of Web3, organizing events was a logistical nightmare in the context.

No Dedicated Platform: Event management apps exist for a while now, yet none of them is specified to block-chain payments and attendance.

Sybil Attacks: Bot spam made it impossible to gauge true event interest or distribute limited tickets fairly.

Manual Verification: Event hosts had no automated way to verify if an attendee actually held the required tokens or NFTs.

The project solves the "Coordination Problem" in Web3. Managing crypto events (meetups, AMAs, or token-gated summits) usually requires jumping between Discord, Eventbrite, and a separate wallet. Onton brings the entire lifecycle—Ticketing, Verification, and Distribution—into one chat.
